Looking Forward

rising higher and higher

on a path uncharted

yet desired

giving sight to unlimited worlds

and hated for it

what is revealed is also mocked

hidden figures become immortal legends

the light of worlds unseen is relentless

and the paths they lead filled with terror

and peace

both pleasant

and pain

everything we see is unseen still

by tomorrow’s eyes still newborn
