Stop Wishing

a new world

is not a planet

in a new galaxy

within the fingertip

of a new universe

my new world

is one where you

stop wishing for tomorrow

and lay in the grass

beneath the sun’s endless rays

far away from civilization

and say, “I could live like this forever”
